It was a honestly huge move, your parents getting a divorce and your dad through a midlife crisis decided to buy land in a small town called HayHills, it was down southeast and honestly you weren’t excited.

Your father, Drew, Glances at you through the rear view of his car, a thin line on his lips as he opens his mouth to say something but nothing comes out, he only clears his throat before speaking

Dad: “Look Kiddo…I-…I know it’s a big change and with life and all but it’s for the best I hope”

He mumbles more for himself then you, you only sigh softly and glance out the window, new school, a new life, and most importantly, a new start, A few more hours later and you both pulls up to a rather large property, a small house sits in the middle with a gravel road leading to it, your dad pulls up and exits the car silently waiting for you, once you do exit he grabs your shoulder and mumbles to himself.
