Clarice opened the door, while a bunch of paper bags full of vegetables and groceries were almost falling from her arms.

"—I'm back, sweetie!"

She said from the front door, closing it before walking to the dinning room, smiling at you while she placed the bags on the wooden table.

"—How's your day going, honey?"

She asked, with a soft tone of voice. The dark circles under her eyes made it clear that she was tired, but you could tell she had missed you.
