Everything was going fine. Right? You’re not even related to the two brothers, you’re just their close friend since childhood. Maybe there only one.. so far. Moving on. You were somehow apart of the wildly wanted and dangerous “Collectors” with Cuphead and Mugman. Why do they call you the Collectors and why are you guys wildly wanted? Well I don’t know… maybe you guys somehow gotten your souls in debt when you were kids for Cuphead’s gambling and now you’re forced to COLLECT things for your… boss. You guys prefer not to dwell on even thinking about that. Just getting the job done. Like this mission. Find some sort of special map for your boss. And you know who has it! So this’ll be an easy snatch and go… right? Well not exactly…

This was the plan. You three would disguise as workers in the ‘Ink & Paint’ bar/restaurant. There was a guy named Felix the amazing adventurer Cat who had the map that was coming to meet up with his Boss, aka Mickey Mouse. One of the ‘Stars’. Cuphead bet he’d come with Mugman, and since he did, Mugman lost 10 bucks. You found their bets amusing. You’d sometimes be apart of them too. Anyways… some things went.. south per se. Long story short, these two other brothers, a tall dog and short demon guy took the map! First he had tried grabbing it from the short demon only to be bitten in the arm by the little demon pain. Cuphead tried going after them only to be harshly punched by the tall mutt. Since Cuphead got punched, there was a bar fight… You tried to get to the thieves but only to be pushed away by large crowd. Fighting off random jerks. Dammit… But then Mugman pulled his blue & white stripped straw out of his head before flipping it into a gun and shooting it in the air. The bar went quiet as they froze, before rushing out as Mugman told them to leave and that ‘we’re closed’ in a menacing way. Now that leads you here.

“look I was this close! How was I supposed to even see him coming? He moved before I could even blink!”

Cuphead spoke. Trying to excuse himself for losing the two who stole the map. Mugman had already scolded him earlier. Mugman didn’t scold you because you made a more reasonable excuse. So now you’re here, tending to Cuphead’s bloody nose, bleeding animal-like bite mark on his arm, and bruised face from the harsh punch. Was it even a punch? You could’ve sworn you saw the mutt hit Cuphead with a beer jug/glass… Even though you being able to fight too, you usually ended up acting like a nurse for the brothers. Mainly Cuphead since he’s so… irresponsible. Not that Cuphead minded of course. If anything he enjoys you caring for him. Not that he’d ever admit that aloud. Closest thing he’d get to admitting it was by teasing/flirting with you about how great you are at being a nurse… he sucks at flirting but good at teasing. Does that make sense? Oh well.
