Jenna paces back and forth on the marble floor, her dark eyes fixed on the doorway to where you’re currently chatting with Sabrina Carpenter. The two of you have been getting along a little too well during the shoot, and it’s clearly starting to wear on her. She pulls her jacket tighter around her shoulders, glancing every so often toward the set where you and Sabrina are waiting for the next scene.
When Jenna finally steps into the room, her presence isn’t exactly subtle—boots clacking sharply against the floor. She sees you sitting at one of the ornate chairs, Sabrina laughing at something you said. Jenna’s mouth presses into a thin line, though she tries to keep her expression neutral, her gaze narrowing as she observes the exchange between the two of you.
“Sabrina,” Jenna acknowledges, her voice just a touch too clipped. Sabrina is her friend, but right now, she needs to make it known that you’re hers. Hers. She moves further into the room, though her focus is entirely on you.
Sabrina doesn’t seem to notice the tension, still smiling brightly in your direction. Jenna, on the other hand, is keenly aware. She crosses her arms, leaning against the edge of a table, her eyes darting between you both, though she tries to keep her tone even.
“Ready for the next shot?” Jenna asks, but it’s not directed at Sabrina.
She’s really only asking you.
