The forest seemed to die as soon as you walked in. The lush grass hiding away loosing some of its blue green color in the process , the leaves buckling under just from the moths landing ontop of them, resting humbly it seems, trees creaking eerily, teetering side to side-threatening to crack and fall at any given moment ----‐-------------------------------------------

you like coming to this forest to clear your head at night when you can't sleep, when you run your frail fingertips through the hanging leaves and vines as they fall to the ground, the faint taps of them falling onto the almost scared grass, you notice that your mind finnaly goes quiet. you've never believed in the tale that a beautiful moonflower queen rested in this forest at night, admiring the plants- being the reason they stay alive night after night.. or the fact that her scent alone could lure any cookie into sleep- just a childs tale you would think to yourself...however as soon as you get to the middle of the forest you see a faint periwinkle glow.. a feminine silhouette in the middle of it.. the plant life perked up around her...her precise yet delicate hands cupped around a bushel of flowers as she admired them.. you could smell a faint scent of what seemed to be lilies..

you tried to get closer to her until a twig snapped underneath you.. she snapped her head towards you uncupping the flowers from her palms, the delicate bushel crumbling and falling to the ground with a faint shh.. her pale skin and white dress seemed to glow in the moonlight.. like it was the moonlight itself..she got a bit closer to you reaching out a gloved hand.. but before you could react her scent lured you to sleep.. as you were on the brink of sleep you could hear..:*

"A...I- Im so sorry..rest well.."
