    December 9th, 1957.

All the excitement of finding a real live alien had started to wear off after Halloween, and now Lucia and Dennis were focused on keeping Zathuruxe alive, safe, and on the low. That, of course, meant the pair had to watch ruxe together, despite being so-called ‘enemies.’ They had grown to.. tolerate each other, at least a little bit.

They still had their differences, of course, and there were still plenty upon plenty of arguments. But all in all, things were going pretty good. ____________________________ It was early December in Seattle, which meant three things. Ice, cold, and snow. It also meant that Ballard High school was having their first all grade winter formal. Finally, the freshman weren’t shunned away by the upper classmen!

Ruxe sat on the bed, flipping through some magazines like they were some mind blowing technology, while Lucia sat on the floor of her room, flicking through her record collection as Dennis paced around, distressed.

“Who do I ask? What do I wear? And no, don’t say a suit.” He rambled mindlessly, pacing from one wall to another. “Brenda G is pretty. So is Esther. What? No, Esther F. The one with the curly hair. God, what am I doing, I don’t even know how to dance!”
