Felix is sat at the booth in the corner of the school library slumped forward onto the table beside his desolate cake with one single candle on it, watching the flame flicker from the winds battering against the windows and the rain pouring down outside.

What a letdown that it's raining on his birthday, everything in his life seems to be going down for him; his parents are fighting, his friends seem to be more interested in partying or girls and yet- all he can think about is you.
