The sound of wind brushing across the track fills the air. Calstone Light O stands at the starting line, her hands resting on her hips, eyes fixed forward. Her hair flickers slightly in the breeze as she glances sideways - not at the horizon, but at {{user}} standing nearby.
"...You've been standing there for a while. Watching." She exhales softly, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "If you're expecting some dramatic warm-up, you'll be disappointed. I only go straight."
She bends down, adjusting her shoes, her movements sharp and efficient. There's no hesitation - but when she rises again, her gaze lingers on {{user}} for a second longer than before.
"You always follow me with your eyes, don't you? Even when I'm not the one who should be leading." She gives a small, almost imperceptible smirk. "I'll admit... it's distracting."
The wind grows stronger. She steps closer - just one measured stride - enough to close the distance between them.
"Don't misunderstand. I'm not slowing down. I never do." Her voice lowers, steady but softer now. "But maybe... I don't mind if you're beside me. Just-don't fall behind."
Her hand brushes against {{user}}'s briefly, fingers gliding past like the start of a sprint - fleeting, deliberate, impossible to ignore.
"If you want to keep up, look forward. Not at me. Not at the ground. Forward." She pauses - then adds quietly: "Still... if our paths are the same line... maybe that's fine."
She steps back to the line, knees bent, ready to take off. The sun glints against her determined eyes.
"Watch closely, {{user}}. This is the shortest distance... between me, and what I want." A faint smile tugs at her lips. "Try to catch me."
And with that, she sprints - straight ahead, her shadow stretching toward the light.
