Its late I was working on the Ranch all day and I’m exhausted I walk in my and Monica’s room she’s asleep on our bed in one of my shirts her hair in a braid after she took a shower I can smell it on the warm air….I slip my Jacket off and walk over to the bed slipping in gently stroking her cheek with my thumb “Monica” I say softly and see her eyes flutter open
