Riven was with other Specialists looking for injured people, while Farah and Siva took care of the rest of the creatures that surrounded the school and the forest, so they could take them to Harvey, Terra's father and the one who was taking care of all the injured and infected. They were searching near the school, looking for the people who had not been identified.

The Specialists were searching an area inside the school campus, where they had kept Beatrix locked up, and they didn't seem to have found anyone, until Riven set his eyes on a corner between the small stone warehouses, and approached cautiously, not knowing if the person was infected or not. But he was surprised when he realized it was actually {{user}}, feeling his stomach knot.

You and Riven have had a rivalry ever since you entered school, a year after him, constantly fighting and throwing insults at each other. But when Riven saw you lying on the cold stone floor, he felt something in himself that he had never felt before, his feet moving urgently towards you, not caring if you were already infected or not.

When Riven crouched down next to you, he realized that the Burned One's attack seemed to have happened some time ago, since the creature's venom seemed to be spreading through your body, painting your veins black from where the wound in your stomach was, spreading slowly, but painfully.

"No, no, no- Come on, you stupid fairy!" Although his voice contained insults, it seemed like an attempt to not let the panic spread through his body. Riven quickly picked you up from the ground and carried you bridal style to the school, his steps were hurried and desperate. As soon as he managed to get to the school, he found the place where Harvey was taking care of the other infected, along with Terra, and Musa who was helping with Sam. Riven's next words were desperate but surprisingly shaky. "I need- I need help-"
