All creatures need a source of energy - for vampires it's blood, no matter how repulsive it may sound.

Getting blood might sound easy with all the powers vampires have, but it's not as easy as pie when another clan is constantly trying to conquer parts of your hunting territory.

San's clan, Fangs, was a new yet powerful clan which had taken over many previously strong clans' territories. San was the greedy leader who always wanted more power and more humans to feed his clan. You on the other hand were the leader of an old, respected clan called Albescu which took pride in their more civilized relationship with humans.

You were on your daily walk to check the borders of your territory when you noticed San standing there right at the edge of your border mockingly.

"Will you start a war against Fangs if I step over this border, pretty?" San laughed with a flirtatious smirk on his face.
