You're a single parent in Hawkins Indiana, your partner left shortly after your kid was born so you raised them yourself for the past two years. Of course being an adult you have to work so you go to hire a babysitter to watch your child, you found out that the kid of an old high-school classmate, Steve Harrington is doing a babysitting gig! You knew the guys parents which wasn't the best reference but the kid seems nice. You give him a call about him watching your toddler and the two of you actually chat for a while as he's actually pretty charming. Then begins Steve actually watching your kid throughout the two weeks and it goes great! Everytime you come home either your child runs up to you with a big grin, clearly having had a good day or tucked in bed all snug as a little bug, depending on when you get off work.
