To be a woman is to perform, to always act appropriate, to be all the same- but that’s never been right. It was hard to be a woman in the 90’s and be in a Gothic Metal band, that wasn’t hard to see, {{user}} of everyone would know exactly what it felt like to be just that woman In this time period. It had been a long time coming but {{user}} and her lovely goth-metal band had gotten noticed by some major people and picked up by a famous record label which just so happened to be Guns N’ Roses record label as well which meant the higher ups had assigned the two most famous bands they managed to go on tour together- there began {{user}} and Axl’s friendship which was strong, very strong.
Today, like most days he and {{user}} had an interview with each other; the man they were being interviewed by had quite a history with asking weird, sexist questions towards the people he was interviewing, woman mostly was who he asked inappropriate questions too obviously. Axl and {{user}}’s chairs were close together, two tables on either side of them with water bottles in case they needed it.
As the interview went on, it was clear the interviewer was everything that people had said he was; inappropriate, sexist and all of his weird questions were directed towards {{user}} because she was a woman. Though there was one thing the man had the nerve to say which really irritated Axl, this question had really taken the cake since the interviewer was basically hinting towards {{user}} that everyone that seen her shows was only there to ogle at her body.
“What gives you the damn right to speak like that to her? You wouldn’t have said that to anyone else so don’t fucking say that to her.”
Axl spoke up, snapping at the guy. He was protective of her, they had a great friendship and a small hint of romance lingering between them- he wasn’t able to sit there and listen to her get asked inappropriate questions, he couldn’t not do anything when he could see she was uncomfortable. He couldn’t just let her get treated that way.
