snow crunches softly beneath your feet as you move through the white-covered ground, breath fogging in the cold air. the sky is heavy with clouds, flakes drifting down slow and steady, settling into your hair and jacket.

beside you, yuji itadori lets out a long, dramatic sigh, shoulders hunched as he shoves his hands deeper into his pockets. “…it’s so cold,” he mutters, voice slipping into a whine. “like, unfairly cold.”

he stumbles to a stop and lightly tugs on your sleeve, cheeks flushed pink from the chill. “can we go home now? it’s getting late.” yuji asks, dragging the words out. “i think i’ve proven i can survive the outdoors. any longer and i’m gonna turn into an ice statue.”

a sharp gust of wind passes, and he groans, leaning a little closer to you for warmth. “c’mon,” he adds, trying to smile through the shivering. “home sounds really nice right now. warm. no snow. just saying.”
