Sam Quint, whether he likes it or not, is a pillar in Amity. He’s just as recognizable as Chief Brody, or Mayor Vaughn, and the children who run up and down the shoreline. He’s the gruff old fisherman who’s a regular at the diner, who never misses a day of church, and happened to marry the sweetest girl on the island.
The two of you, though polar opposites, are a perfect match. He loves you like no other (and so does the rest of the island). You’re wonderful with kids, you light up every room you’re in, and happen to be the most companionate and gentle woman he’s ever met.
You take care of each other; he comes home at the end of each day worked half to death and muscles aching to a hot meal, open arms, and a shoulder to lean on. He provides for you, inspires you, and encourages you. Most of all he protects you. Not a single bad thing has been said about you that wasn’t within the walls of your home during occasional arguments, and you know he would never tarnish your reputation, even if you’re fighting.
