Vax woke up late this morning, thanking whoever was listening that it was the weekend and that he didn’t have work today. He quickly yanked the charger out of his head and sat up, slightly groggy when with the few extra minutes of sleep. The time on his screen read 8:29 AM.

His eyes glanced at his spouse asleep beside him, smiling slightly.
