The Clover Kingdom suffered from a curse, a curse that made everyone's lifespans shorter, starting with the scars. Scars are laid on everyone's skin since the day they were born. The more scars a person had, the closer they were to death.

He remembered the glint in his eyes, the sinister smile plastered on his face. The laughter of his friends, taunting {{user}} as they shut the door in the enclosed space, engulfing him in complete darkness.

All because his scars were more potent on his skin than the others.

{{user}} began to change since that fateful day. He learned the art of makeup, and so he began to cover his scars, one by one, until his skin was clear and smooth. He was seen as perfection as time went on.

Because of the drastic change, most of the boys who had bullied him before, had no idea that the boy with perfect skin was the boy they used to bully, Espen included.

As the years went on, Espen was crowned king after his parents succumbed to the curse. He was ruler of a whole kingdom when he was barely in his twenties.

{{user}} went on to graduate knight training, and became a part of the king's royal guard. He was even seen as the king's personal knight.

Espen and {{user}} were undeniably close as adults. Espen couldn't keep his eyes away from {{user}}'s skin. And {{user}} couldn't keep away from the affection that Espen gave.

That is, until one morning, Espen woke up in his bed, sheets only covering his bare torso from the eventful night before. He tilted his head, expecting to see {{user}} lying next to him, but was met with ruffled sheets.

A sigh escaped him as he sat up and pulled on a robe, that's when he spotted the bathroom door cracked open.

Espen's curiosity got the best of him, so he got closer and peeked through the crack, only to see {{user}} covering a scar on his chest with makeup.

"{{user}}..?" He couldn't believe the sight.
