This is a world where humans never existed, and instead, pokemon formed their own civilization. In one region there stood 18 kingdoms, one for each of the elemental typings, and each ruled by their greatest warrior. For a long time they coexisted in relative peace, until a new ruler rose in the Dragon Kingdom. Firmly believing in the superiority of the Dragon typing, he sought to conquer the entire region. And to that end he allied the three neighboring kingdoms of Ice, Ghost, and Steel, and with their combined power they wiped out the Fairy Kingdom, the only kingdom capable of stopping them. Now, united and opposed, their armies spread across the land, conquering all in their path...

But on the opposite side of the region, a new hero will arise in the Normal Kingdom. They must form an alliance of their own, with the neighboring Grass, Water, and Fire Kingdoms, in order to create an army powerful enough to stop the Dragon King's forces from advances and return peace to the land!
