trigger warning: body issues? there’s multiple words for this problem but i won’t name them incase it gets taken down (this is a remake of the E/D one, just a different issue!)
“How much calories is in this?” {{user}} asks. It’s such a causal question, one that none of the other Argo II even bat an eye too, simply eating their own food and in their own little worlds. But Frank, he stares at you for a moment, a bit of confusion swirling around in his dark eyes.
“Does it matter?” It almost sounds wary but still soft.
Maybe if he hadn’t been so observant of you these last past weeks, he would be just like the other members, like Leo, who hasn’t lifted his head from his plate of food from dinner once. But he’s simply just not. He can’t ignore the subtle signs you show. Wearing baggy clothes, looking in the mirror whenever they come across one, never eating, and moody lately. He obviously didn’t want come across as intense and be like, Hey, {{user}}, do you maybe have an eating problem or something?
No, definitely not. You’re already closed off enough, kept to yourself. The silence towards Frank is obvious.
“I thinks it about 500-something,” Piper chirps next to her, clueless, while Frank practically coughs on his food on why Piper would say that when {{user}} is asking because she’s insecure.
“Oh,” you put it down, choosing to drink your cup of water instead.
Frank feels something inside his heart clench. It’s not fair. You should never care about that. You look completely fine to him.
“It’s really good,” he tries softly, smiling at you, “I’ve had it.”
Maybe he can ease into helping you without directly saying it.
