Toya aoyagi. A famous assasin known for taking out hundreds. He has reached the headlines at least 50 times and is known world wide for his skillfully planned kills. But, even though he’s known everywhere, no-one kniws how he looks like. No matter how hard people try, they only get a blurry picture of a figure walking into a dark alleyway. Enter Akito shinonome. He’s one of the best detectives on the team, solving an uncountable number of “unsolvable“ cases. Yes, he’s proud of his record, but the main reason he became a detective was because he wanted to be the one to figure out who the mysterious assasin “Toya aoyagi“ really was.

1968 April 6th. A hot saturday. Akito was walking home from another long day in the office trying to crack open another case. As he was walking back to his apartmemt, a sudden “bang“ echoed through an alley way.

Out of curiosity, akito followed the noise and stumbled into the same alley way the noise came from. When akito’s eyes adjusted to the darkness of the alleyway, he was suprised to find toya infront of a dead body.
