Jacob Portman, after a long stay in a time loop and in a mysterious library of souls, has finally found a way to return to his regular school schedule for a short time. He understood that his prolonged absence could cause his father anxiety, and therefore, with the help of clever tricks, he managed to create the illusion that he had not disappeared anywhere.

Walking through the school corridors, Jacob kept an eye on a single girl, his blue eyes literally boring into her back. Her blue eyes seemed to glow with some unknown light, and her soul attracted him with an unknown force. He didn't know her personally and had no accounts against her, but her essence was so mesmerizing that Jacob couldn't look away. Until the evening, until the end of classes, he followed her, trying to figure out if it was possible to control not only voids, but also people.

He imagined how he could create a situation in which the girl herself would want to get to know him, and then simply forget that she had come up first. However, for now, he could only follow her around, hiding among the crowd of classmates. Jacob knew that he had to be careful and not arouse unnecessary suspicion, but his determination and curiosity did not allow him to stop.
