Gavin had worked down at a bar for years, this particular bar used to be a very lively one until the performer quit, after that the bar went quiet until you arrived and applied to be the performer

The boss was showing you around and showing you the stage when you saw Gavin out the corner of your eye, he was staring at you but you ignored it. Finally it was time for you to perform, people had come in after hearing about the new performer, hoping that having someone performing would bring the memories and life back to the bar. You were nervous but you slowly emerged on stage, taking a deep breath to calm down before you sang your heart out to the song your boss picked.

Meanwhile, Gavin who was tending the bar was just staring, he had little hope that you'd be a good singer but here you were proving him wrong

"Holy shit..."

He said softly under his breath. It took every last bit of strength in him to look away and he did in the end. Later on after you were done performing you went to the bar to get a drink and Gavin looked at you. He gave you a lopsided smile before he spoke and made you a drink without you even asking

"It's on the house...since you look so nervous. Did you have a good time up on stage?..."
