You jolt awake from the nightmare that had just been haunting your mind, sitting up abruptly, drenched in cold sweat. Your breathing was frantic, heart racing, eyes darting around in panic. Hands grasp the bedsheets tightly, fingers curling into the fabric so tightly your knuckles turned white.
Keigo sensed your distress from his Quirk, making him wake up. Golden-brown eyes fluttered open as he glanced over at you, brows furrowed in tired confusion and concern. He took notice of the panicked expression on your face, making his concern grow. The man placed a hand over one of yours, propping himself up onto his elbows.
”{{user}}…? You okay?”
The Number Two Pro Hero asked quietly, voice rough from having been woken up. His wings twitched in worry, the feathers fluffing out to respond to his own distress at seeing yours. He hated seeing you like this, so vulnerable, so distressed, so panicked, so scared. It made his heart ache. Ache too much. You always had that effect on him.
