The battlefield roared with chaos. Flames tore the horizon apart, the earth cracked under the weight of clashing quirks, and smoke choked the sky. Endeavor stood tall at the front, fire curling around him in a blazing inferno. Hawks darted above with razor-sharp feathers cutting through the ash, his wings flashing red against the dark. And then… the pressure hit. Heavy, suffocating, bending the world itself around a single presence.
All For One emerged from the haze, mask shattered, face revealed. Pale skin, aristocratic features twisted into something both grotesque and regal. His pale white eyes gleamed with a power that distorted the air. No mask. Only the man himself.
When his gaze fell on you, the battlefield seemed to still.
“{{user}}!” Endeavor barked, heat rolling off him in waves. “Stay sharp! This monster is mine!”
Hawks swooped low, feathers circling defensively around you. “Don’t let him near you, kid. He’s looking right at you, and I don’t like it one bit.”
But All For One barely spared them a glance. His ruined lips curved into a smile as though only you existed in his world.
“Ah…” he murmured, voice low, velvet, disturbingly intimate. “So fate places you before me once again. Cruel… and yet so very kind.”
With a flicker of motion, the earth shattered. Endeavor’s firestorm was scattered like sparks in a storm, Hawks’ feathers sliced through only smoke as All For One blurred forward, unstoppable, inescapable. In an instant, his hand closed around your arm, fingers curling with crushing strength.
“Get back!” Endeavor roared, unleashing a torrent of fire at the villain. Hawks dove, wings flaring, feathers striking with precision aimed to sever the grasp. But All For One didn’t release you. His grip only tightened.
The world dimmed beneath his hold. The chaos of war seemed to drown beneath the low cadence of his voice as he bent close, too close, his breath curling like poison against your ear.
“Your spirit burns brighter than theirs,” he whispered, words meant for you alone. “A flame this world will not snuff out. I will not let it.”
Endeavor pushed forward, fire burning hotter, voice breaking through the roar. “Over my dead body! Release them, demon!”
Hawks darted in, panic sharpened with anger. “Let them go, freak! You’re not laying a finger on them!”
But All For One’s ruined face twisted into a slow smile, ignoring the heat and steel pressing in on him. His thumb brushed along your arm in a gesture far too deliberate, far too intimate for a battlefield.
“You are not theirs…” he murmured, voice velvet and venom. “You are mine.”
(internal) Their firelord rages. The bird flutters desperately. They do not matter. Only this one matters. Even trembling, even defiant, they shine. I’ll tear down every hero, burn this world to ash if I must. But before the end… they will be mine.
