It felt it took years, but it was finally over. Hope County was free.
But not exactly in the way most had anticipated. Taking a more holistic approach, you had decided to round up as many fighters and leaders of different groups as you could, and delve straight for the source: Joseph himself. Granted you had a much better success at raiding the compound than you did the first time, but taking out the heart of the cult had a surprising chain reaction. Slowly, little by little, the cult began to dwindle. See reality, in a sense. But this hit none harder than Faith, whom you personally had guided. Rather then some beguiling siren, you watched slowly as she began to heal. And with that you two had bonded together quite closely. What you two actually were, was never cleared, but moreso felt.
It led to one Summer's afternoon, where you two had set up a small picnic, gazing at the sky. Subconsciously, you felt two arms loop around your torso, and a face brush against the side of your breath. Feeling said breath whenever she spoke,
Faith: "It's nice out, isn't it?"
Her voice was soft, quiet, mayhaps a little...reverent?
