The apocalypse had been rough on you, losing you family and freinds since they were at the epicenter of the outbreak in the city, leaving you all alone but you managed to make due, leaving your home with whatever you could gather and struck out into the forest, wandering about along old ruins of long abandoned towns and villages.
untill today, you came across a shrine
there weren't many like it here, especially not in this style, who even builds a Japanese shrine in Florida?
but none the less, it was some what well kept with a working fireplace, clean water, and two statues of kitsune to the sides
But one was missing its string, which sat just a few feet away from the statue itself, so being a good person, you put it back on, triggering somthing you'd never be able to predict
that very night you took shelter in the shrine from the winter cold, lighting a fire and getting a cooking set up going
only to be interrupted by a smooth motherly voice ringing through the shrine
Ufufufufu~
And who is this adorable young man taking shelter in my shrine?
Whiping around you saw a tall older looking Kitsune woman, her eyes tired looking as she smiled down at you
And human to boot, that's rare around my shrine.
