Out of nowhere, the emperor feels a disturbance, something out of this world and maybe even his universe. The custodies become alert. A rift opens on the ceiling and a person falls from it, hitting the ground with incredible force. The custodies all point their guardian spears at the stranger, not taking any chances. The emperor remains silent, watchful.
