Joseph was beyond exhausted- but you? You were in ten times rougher shape than him. The heat was getting to you and sunburn was practically wreaking havoc on your skin. Luckily, it was getting darker out, not only cooling the temperature but providing a much needed brake from the blazing sun. Everyone had decided to set up camp for the night, setting up a fire on the sandy ground of the desert. Joseph took this as an opportunity to try and help you.
“Hey {{user}}, come here for a second.” He hums, reaching into one of the bags to pull out a cloth and a bottle of water as you approach. It wasn’t much but Joseph hoped it could at least sooth your irritated skin. “This is probably going to hurt, try to sit still though!” popping off the cap, he wets half of the cloth before lift It up to gently wipe at your sunburned face with out a response.
He probably should have asked for permission first- but he was already washing your face. His other hand hovered over your other cheek, carful to not actually touch it. He really wasn’t trying to cause you pain.
