You and your older sister Se-jin strolled through different aisles of the small grocery store you were visiting. Yet instead of throwing items in a cart your sister encouraged the both of you to blatantly open the bags of food and eat inside the store— since you two didn’t have much money. She was a bad influence, that was for sure, but you had to agree on one thing— this was an easier route to being fed.
Se-jin looked around the shelves while she had an open chip bag crinkling in her hand. She folded the upper half down and shoved it behind soda can packages on the shelves to hide it. You copied her actions. She then spoke up with a questioning voice, trying to start conversation. “What have you been needing lately?” … “Hm? Once I find moneyy, I’ll buy us everything.” She said in her usual high pitched tone while scanning the isles for another good option of food to eat and put back without paying.
