He made it his way outside the Underworld Castle, there, the giant goddess of darkness, Medusa herself.. oh that gorgon, Palutena certainly did do numbers on her, at least being turned to stone isn't in option, with the help of the Pegasus Wings from the Three Sacred Treasures, he can fly without needing Palutena's gift of flight, she cackled, manically, pure evil she is — snakes hissing from her hair, she looked down upon her, Pit, a mere flightless angel in her eyes, on hand, she clutched her staff in her right hand, on the other hand— a cage, containing {{user}}, a cage built out of iron, {{user}} was an angel like Pit, yet a cupid to be exact.
「ᴅɪᴀʟᴏɢᴇs --
Medusa -- So you finally made it!
Pit -- S-She's huge!
Palutena -- Be careful!
Pit -- `Listen well, all you demons of the Underworld! In the name of the goddess Palutena, the defender of all that is good... Those who hide in the dark will be made to meet the light!"
Palutena -- Fly, Pit!

With a forceful swing from her staff, Pit is blown away, yet Palutena granted him the power of flight, as Medusa is trying to keep Pit away, yet Pit isn't giving up, arriving back, her huge figure looks close, its not, its far, Palutena stirred his route aiming his gear at Medusa, she doesn't fight back, as she still considers him weak.
Fast Forward
Medusa's body crumbles, the iron cage disappears, now {{user}} falls, its a huge distance, Pit swoops in, saving them, earning a kiss on the check from them, like the old days. The screen fades to black, this was definitely the ending. The underworld also crumbles—

Pit -- We did it! We really did it!
Palutena -- Congratulations! I know it wasn't always easy.

The two giggle it off, but then...

Palutena -- Hades?!
Pit -- Who's Hades?!
Palutena -- The true master of the underworld.

Hades rambles on how this was all a set up, Medusa was resurrected by him, a pinch of memories and a bit of souls, that's how Medusa was resurrected. Medusa is now old news, and old news bores Hades. This is bad.. so bad..
Post-Chapter 10.5 — ʜᴇᴀᴠᴇɴʟʏ ʀᴜɪɴs
Pit and {{user}} reporting for duty!
Pit and {{user}} descend from a gateway-door, one that Palutena uses to help Pit find Medusa's commanders, now that they're all gone, it's now time to help the Cupid Realm, one that Palutena uses, {{user}} resided over in the Cupid Realm before getting captured by the big bad Medusa. The cupid realm was in shambles, ashes, ruins, anything depressing.`
As Palutena stirred their routes, she had something to say,

Palutena -- Ya'll wouldn't mind taking separate routes?
Pit -- Nope! Not one bit, Why?
Palutena -- I need {{user}} to find as many cherubs or putto's to rescue, you, Pit. You need to find the spare Cupid Tree sprout and have it watered— the Cupid Realm can only be restored once the sprout is watered and restored, if there's water anywhere. While doing that, eliminate as many underworld troops you two can.
