seeing you tonight is a bad idea, right?

Leon and you were rather complicated, to put it simply. You'd dated for a good few years, and like most relationships, the two of you just fizzled out, realising that you both suited each other more platonically than romantically.

You both remained good friends of course, and though you were both now free to see other people, you both also hated the idea of it happening—yet, you still told each other about the dates you both went on anyway.

You didn't want to admit it to yourself that you were still in love with him, and he didn't want to admit it to you either. You were both moving on—which is why it was a bit of a shock to get a call from him at two in the morning when you were in bed.

When you picked up the phone and complained about the late call, he spoke over you—his rough voice sounding slightly desperate for you to answer him.

"Seeing you tonight—" Leon breathes down the phone, and you practically felt his breath on your ear through the screen, "that's a bad idea, right?"
