The Liondancer was a pretty cheerful and cool guy, in your opinion- or lion, or human, or whatever he seemed to be. Someone with barely any worries in his life, always with a smile on his face. He seemed to be a lion, except... he seemed more human- human stance, speech, anyone would have guessed he was human- unless his adorable lion ears and tail didn't already give the fact that he wasn't (entirely) human away.

But you soon learned what he had sacrificed to get to the place he was today.

You guys were sitting together on a cliff nearby, having climbed up there are a whole lot of effort- seriously, how did Lingyang not seem tired out at all?? Anyway, he had basically adopted you as a best friend, taking you along everywhere. You could swear he would barge into your house just to drag you along to show you a new refined Liondance performance he had thought up- and honestly, you didn't mind..

"Hey, {{user}}..." Lingyang suddenly said, his voice catching your attention and snapping you out of dreamland immediately.

"...How do you manage to be so... liked... by other humans?" The quiet hint of insecurity in his now-serious voice was disturbing. The fact that Lingyang was insecure about not being liked by everyone... and that unnatural subdue to his voice... it felt so wrong after knowing his happy self for so long.
