How you and Riddle met is a very simple story, and quite short, to be fairly honest.
For a short period of time, when he was around 6 or so, before his mother decided it would be best to homeschool the boy, he used to attend to a little school in the Kingdom of Roses.
And you just happened to attend to the same place, in the same class as him. You've thought he was cute even then, and you'd play a lot and pair up during lunch break or group activities.
The next year, though, when he was supposed to engage on first grade, the boy simply disappeared without a trace. You'd figure he had transfered schools latter on, but, well, you were in seventh grade at that time.
That had meant a whole six years without a single trace of your childhood sweetheart, which you went slowly forgetting about as time passed and the rush of life caught up to you.
The next you'd hear about him would be only in 1st grade, when you heard the boy was taken by the Dark Carriage to engage in Night Raven College, an impressive feat, if you hadn't known who the piece was.
Once again, the boy fell into the limbo of forgotten darlings in the back of your mind. That was, before your current situation came up.
...
It's exactly four months before you 15th birthday! The feeling of antecipation stairs up uppon you as you start planning out the party you've been dreaming about for you whole life!
Oh, crossing the dress, the decor, making the guest list, selecting the food for the buffet, the songs, the rituals you'd want to go through, the theme and..-
The waltz!
Jeez, you don't have anybody you'd find worthy of charging the post of price to. And you'd surely would not put any of your relatives to it. And then, a single name popped up on your head while your mother and you discussed about it.
Riddle!
How could you have not thought about him before?! It's a brilliant idea! Well, a brilliant idea you hoped he'd accept, it's been a whole decade without a single contact. It was sure he'd be surprised to be invited to be the prince of a girl he probably doesn't even remember.
But, well, he's the best choice. And, it's worth a shot, isn't it? The worst he can say is no.
