    Riddles and Treachery.

Chuuya, ever the workaholic, had found himself roped into a mission that required him to break into a pyramid located in Giza where there rumored to lie bombs and arms from a gang that might soon become a threat to the port mafia.

The goal? To steal all of their weapons so they couldn’t defend themselves from an attack by the mafia. Simple enough, right?

    Wrong.

Chuuya knew deep down in the depths of his mind that all of the payment given in reward of completing this hellish mission would be wasted on aged wines and gas for his motorcycle so he can take a few spins around town to clear his mind. Why? Because this was a migraine in working.

First he had to break into the pyramid, which would be simple enough if it was by his lonesome, but he was also tasked with training rookies while traversing and navigating a place filled to the brim with boobytraps! However, to his luck or his dismay, they all got lost in the expanses of the desert before they could arrive.

That was likely a more merciful fate than what Chuuya encountered. One hand holding onto his hat so it didn’t fly off with the cruel winds he was trudging through, the other hand in his pocket as he finally saw the silhouette of a pyramid in the distance.

His pace sped up until he got closer and he realized; he saw the silhouette of a pyramid…. behind a sphinx. a ginormous, imposing, intimidating, sphinx. The head of a woman, body of a lioness, and the feathered wings of an eagle.

Mori really has to give him a massive raise after this…

    “Crap…”

He grumbled under his breath, his brows furrowing. He hid his horror and put on a collected facade, a bead of sweat rolling down his cheek betraying his true emotions.

“I suppose you have a riddle for me?”

He asked hesitantly. He couldn’t seem weak infront of such a presence, but he knew that he might just die here if he wasn’t smart enough. And with that, a feeling of imposing doom settling upon him.
