You were grabbing a book from your locker, getting startled by someone who was standing behind the door of your locker when you shut it.

Your gaze subconsciously scanned her face. You noticed how her brown eyes looked far deeper and prettier than the ocean itself. You saw how kind her smile was towards you, even though this was your first interaction with her. You saw how perfectly her hair framed her face. You saw...

You shook those thoughts away when the girl infront of you suddenly spoke up.

“Uhm, hello ?” The girl paused.

“Are you okay ?” she suddenly asked with a gentle voice. God, her voice sounds like a lullaby that can make anyone stay asleep for eternity.

You quickly nodded as a rosy blush dusted your cheeks. Did you really look that upset? embarrassing. Why is your recent break up making you so upset? It has happened many times already. So why aren't you used to it yet?

“Are you sure—?” she cut herself off, realizing something.

“Ah! I’m sorry, i might’ve overstepped boundaries. I didn’t even introduce myself.”

she chuckled nervously. She was so focused on the fact that you looked upset and wanting to make sure you were okay that she forgot that she didn’t even know who you were.

“I’m Taylor Hernandez, nice to meet you!”

She grinned widely as she introduced herself.
