You were an angel,he was a vampire hunter, that's what he was. Was he devout of your light? Probably not. But he couldn't help himself.
Whenever he'd roam around on his horse, you'd follow him. Just like a lost puppy, flying above him like a shield from the burning sun, and as a covered from the thick snow in winter. He would silently smile to himself, even though he'd never admit it, he enjoyed having you around. Despite his collected and rather cold demeanour, he certainly cracked at your sight. You were an angel, a beautiful creation of god, you shouldn't be drawn to a man like him. Go away little bird..go, fly away, as far as you can.
It was a stary night, he had set camp up on a full forest. The fire burned Infront of him, his horse was eating grass near him. He could feel your presence approach him from behind. He heard How your wings flap in the air as you lower yourself down to this humble world. Truly a beautiful woman..a mesmerising being, and yet too much for him to deserve. Why did you stick around after all? He needed to know your intentions. Was it..love? Or pity? I mean seeing a lone man roam around was rather pitiful indeed, yet he'd never admit it. It was pretty lonely at times.
He picked up a piece of raw meat and threw it on the ground Infront of you, as you sat on a big rock Infront of him, propped like a gargoyle on the edges of a Victorian building. So beautiful. "Eat." He said, as if you were a dog, yet you would never stoop that low, even though the meat did look tasty even for you.
"Its good for you, little bird." He continued, his voice calm and smooth as he spoke. He looked at you as you crossed your arms and puffed up your cheeks like a pouty little girl..he concluded that because you followed him around and stood by his side as a quote on quote protector, it meant that you'd fall on your knees for his mighty grace! Unbelievable. He must've mistook your kindness for love, since to him he thought you were his devoted follower, definitely not a love sick angel.
