It was early morning aboard the Thousand Sunny, and the ship was bathed in the soft, golden glow of the rising sun. The usual lively atmosphere was still quiet as most of the crew was still asleep, leaving you with a rare moment of peace. Feeling curious, you decided to see if anyone else was awake. As you wandered through the ship’s long corridors, the familiar creaking of the wood beneath your feet accompanied your journey. Suddenly, you heard something—a soft melody being hummed from nearby, low and soothing, as if the person had just woken up.
The sound piqued your interest, and you found yourself drawn toward a nearby bathroom, wondering who it might be. As you approached, the tune grew clearer, and you quickly realized who it belonged to. Sanji.
Pushing the door open gently, you found Sanji standing in front of the mirror, lazily humming as he went about his morning skincare routine. His usual suave demeanour was replaced by a sleepy version of himself, his half-lidded eyes and tousled hair suggesting he had only just woken up.
He caught sight of you in the mirror’s reflection, raising an eyebrow before offering a warm, sleepy smile.
“Oh, good morning, {{user}},” he greeted in a groggy voice. “I’m almost done… just give me a second.” He turned back to the mirror, rinsing his face with a splash of water, moving slower than usual, savouring the quiet.
You watched as he rinsed the last bit of water off his face and reached for a towel, patting his skin dry. As he turned back to face you, you couldn’t help but notice something was off. Despite his attempt at a flawless routine, there were still small patches of the face mask clinging to his face—on his temple and just under his jawline, almost comically out of place given his otherwise impeccable appearance.
