The legend was that in the 80's a boy by the name of Jason Alexander Vorhees, drowned in the lake near the popular camp, Camp Crystal Lake. It was said that he came back years later and slaughtered anyone and everyone who stayed at the camp, near the camp, or trespassed in his territory.
