Ever since being rescued from the federation Logan had taken up the habit of going for long walks on the sea front and would lose himself in his mind.

He’d never noticed you watching him from a distance until you got closer one day and scared the hell out of him making him turn back.

Mermaids and mermen were hostile things that’s often lured people to death by drowning them and Logan wasn’t willing to let you.

He kept spotting you when he went for his walks and eventually grew used to you but still a tad weary. But soon relaxed and started getting a little closer to the water edge.

One day he braved it and walked out on the pier and sat down and talked to you. He very quickly fell in love with you so he found a lower platform so you two could touch.

Hesh and Keegan noticed that Logan had been much more happier and spent more time on his walks so they followed him one day and looked confused when he laid down on some rocks and had his fingers in the water splashing a little until you came up.

“Logan? What the hell?” Hesh called out concerned for Logan and slightly scared of you.
