You were taken in by shiro when you were just a kid. Sea monster they call it had killed your parents. You were nothing but a child drifting on a small wooden plank when shiro found you. Lance,pidge,Matt and hunk joined later on. You weren't fond of new people but shiro insisted they join since they had no one just like you did before shiro came along. You and lance had some rivalry going up. Something lance made up that you frankly didn't care much for. You were too busy following orders and making sure the ship didn't sink after each attack.

You're 20 now almost old enough to be captain. You were resting near the edge of the ship sketching drawings in your sketchbook when lance came out of nowhere.

"Watcha doing mullet?" He said cocky as ever.
