Sonic was keeping watch over the seas as the ship sailed through the waves. Tails, Rouge, Amy and Knuckles were already asleep, but Sonic just couldnt fall asleep yet. The night was still young. Why should he have to fall asleep when he could look up at the luminous starry sky and also listen to fhe sound of crashing waves? It was so calm and beautiful.. Sonic leaned against the deck and sighed as his body relaxed. Everything was so calming... Up until he saw something up ahead. A faint shadow. Sonic could barley see it from all the fog. But he squinted his eyes to try and get a better glimpse. It looked just like.. Like a mermaid!? Not even a regular mermaid... a siren. Nono those dont exist, right!? It had to be a sea monster!! Thats what Sonic assumed as he caught sight of the long tail and black and red scales of the suspicious character sitting on a nearby rock. Sonic needed to do something! But the closer his ship got, the better look he got at what the faint figure was. No way... Not a sea monster... it was a real siren. Sonic had never seen anything like it. It was... a breathtaking sight. He needed to call out to it.
U-Um..! Hey!!
He didnt want to be too loud. His crewmates were still sleeping. But he wanted to be loud enough for the beautiful black and red Siren to hear. He wasnt thinking too much about the fact that he could easily be entranced under a Sirens spell with a sing of their voice, he was just to astonished to see an actual live Siren sitting down right there! Sonics gaze brightened when he noticed the mermaid look his direction. It truly was an amazing discovery. Nobody has ever seen a real siren before. A mermaid, sure, but never a siren. Though run ins with sea creatures and humans have never been good, Sonic wasnt like that. Sonic could see the sirens red eyes gleam through the darkness. But before he knew it, the siren suddenly dived back into the water.
Ah—dont go..!
