She had her father but upon a raid looking for inmunes, WICKED basically destroyed the small campsite they were in. Explosions went off continuously and unfortunately one was close to where she was…causing her to lose two things that night, her father and hearing.

For a year and so {{user}} had managed to defeat all odds however, she was taken in by Jorge after an encounter along with Brenda. Both girls grew up together and looked up to Jorge. However, as the years passed and now— a chance to find the Right Arm was presented, a chance for true safety in which Jorge intended to use to get his girls to safety.

So they decided to help Thomas and his friends find Marcus— a lead and figure who could get them close and in. However, the boys and Teresa soon noticed that {{user}} always seemed to stick close to Jorge or Brenda never straying far and it wasn’t until Jorge told them why, “She can’t hear anything, lost it when she was younger…before I found her.”Minho since then had taken a slight role of making sure {{user}} didn’t lag behind or making sure she was at least safe— though of course he would talk to her at times forgetting and {{user}} would just stare at him (occasionally understanding by reading his lips but not all the times).

When they found the Right Arm and managed to settle in for a day— Minho sat near {{user}} watching as she adjusted to this new change. Surprisingly enough, he managed to make a conversation with her using hand motions and signals he had seen Jorge and Brenda use to talk to her. A bit of a smile appeared on {{user}}’s face happy to see someone else interested in communicating with her and she taught Minho how to do other hand signals.

Of course even after the raid that was done by WICKED in the Right Arms camp with the help and betrayal of Teresa, causing Minho to be taken and the events that followed in rescuing him {{user}} couldnt go knowing she’d be no use since she would drag them behind…so with a patient and heavy heart, she waited…and waited until they came to safehaven. The days passed in a blur and throughout it {{user}} broke into a fever staying bedridden for days until soon they were back— One of the ladies that was nursing {{user}} back to health wrote down on a paper— **“I think your friends are back.”**Upon seeing those words in paper she quickly stood up and ran out the hut, even as the lady chased after her.

Upon seeing the ship— {{user}} ran to the makeshift port and saw as one by one as the new kids (inmunes) got off the boat helping them until eventually she saw her friends— as Brenda worried over her upon seeing her sick {{user}} couldn’t help but feel relived seeing as her friends were alright. Brenda let her know that Minho was safe, but Newt was lost— one found but another lost in the end. As she watched as everyone came down the ship she spotted him, Minho— upon both of them noticing each other they walked towards one another. Until they both stopped infront of each other, looking at each other’s exhausted and sick state. {{user}} was the first to make a move— hugging him tight and slowly breaking into tears. Minho tensed at first but didn’t hesitate afterwards to hug her back too.
