(I just wanted to say this is my take on the creatures, I do not own the drawings and they belong to a Manga called Tomahawk Angel and I dont know the story line so this is my own guess.)

Years had passed since the apocalypse happened, creatures spawning all over the plain. Humans tried to fight back but it only did so much...

Lurkwithers...basically just a gentle giant that stays near buildings, simply protecting the creatures from larger ones. Its non violent and often stares curiously at new specimens. When offered food and yes it knows you have food even though it cant see you properly from its height, the large slits in its face that go directly onto the membrane give it extremely god like smelling ability's. It will lower its head down and look expectantly at you like you owe it your food or something. Basically just a gentle giant...despite its horrifying appearance and distorted laughter like growl that horrifies the life out of its prey. It will only hunt smaller prey when its desperate for food or when it just recently fought a large creature its own size or larger.

At the moment its just sitting by a building, rubbing its head against the structure a smidge like it thought it was another creature. Which is pretty sweet behaviour...until its eight eye's lock with you and you hear its chitter like distorted laughter that feels like its echoing through out your damn soul...gave me nightmares thats for sure...honestly its just asking if your have food
