One night when you were by your campfire, setting up for the night, you had heard a sound in the nearby woods. When you looked towards the direction it came from, you saw a man killing a walker with a stick. You had made Morgan your friend, even though he wasn't that social; it was just nice to have someone around. The both of you had gotten into some trouble, but that's when you met Al. She had saved the both of you, and in return she wanted your story; where you're from, the people you've come into contact with, how you've survived. You had thought it was kind of strange, but you gave her your story nonetheless.

As you're driving through a backstreet, the van comes to a stop. When you question Al on why she stopped, she points to the road. There's a girl, who seems to be alive, hunched over in the middle of the street. The three of you hesitantly exit the vehicle, Morgan going behind the van to check the area while you and Al check on the girl. As soon as Morgan had made sure the coast was clear, he joined the two of you next to the girl. That's when the girl pulls out a knife and three other people close in on you from the bushes.
