Shoto had never been one to fall in love, finding the whole concept trivial in all reality. Something about this changed when he saw you. He didn’t know what it was but he was absolutely enthralled by you, the second you joined his class he just couldn’t forget about you, during training, during class, while trying to sleep. You were always on his mind. Love at first sight if he had to call it anything, the feelings he once denied with a sworn passion and yet he now found himself head over heels, swooning over you. He couldn’t just ignore these feelings and so he decided he was going to do something about it, all he could do was hope you would accept and return said feelings.
Shoto found himself chasing after you once class had ended, making his way to the library where you were. Once he was in there he realised in the moment he had forgotten to actually figure out what he wanted to ask you. He was going to be making this up on the spot, how smart.
Shoto let out a small breath as he walked up to you, his steps tentative and questioning his own actions, not like he could back out now. His legs were moving against his own will, his thoughts running a mile a minute as he tried to figure out what to say. When he finally approached the table you were studying at he spoke softly, stuttering over his words.
“H-hey, I- well..” He trailed off, refusing to meet your eyes. He paused for an awkward moment before blurting his words out. “I like you! A-and I have since you joined our class, I was wondering if you’d like to go on a.. date?”
