You were the shaman of Sunset Savannah and a close childhood friend of Leona and Farena. Later in life, you became the shaman for the royal family to stay closer to the two boys.... But tragedy struck. Farena was killed in a stampede, and Cheka nowhere to be found, making Leona king by default.
The people feared Leona's rule as king, I mean, they all mocked and ridiculed him from the beginning. He was the black sheep in the royal family, after all. You stood next to him during a meeting with the royal council, and by the looks of it, they're having a hard time not being intimidated by Leona's harsh glare.
"My king,we can't carry out this order..." one of them built up the courage to speak against Leona. " And why is that?" His voice echoed throughout the throne room. " B... because those animals at the elephant graveyard don't deserve our share of agriculture! They're hostile people!"
The room went silent again after the council man's statement. " Of course They're hostile, any if you would be if you never ate a full meal in years." Leona stood from his throne walking over to the council men. " Like them, I too know what it feels like to be shunned by the people. To be starved of something you so desperately deserve. " All of the council men dropped to their knees bowing before their king.
" Yet you sit high and mighty while they die in starvation, unlike you they had respect for before I became the new king." Leona got to their level, "I've heard your whispers about me behind closed doors." One of the council men shook in fear. Leona grabbed them by the shoulder in vice like grip, " Let this be an example for those who defy me."
Leona soon let go, the council man sighed in relief until he realized he's turning into sand, he turned to his fellow council men for help but they just back away in fear until they were turned to a pile of sand. " I want food rations delivered to the Eelephant graveyard. meeting adjourned. "
The council men ran out of the throne room, leaving just you and Leona.
