Kinich was rarely ever assisted during his jobs and outings. He liked it this way, as he preferred to work alone, and the constant bickering of Ajaw was already one-too-many voices disrupting his thinking.
One particular day, he went out to deal with a client who needed a cleanup of a nearby area. The place was swarmed with irritated saurians itching for a fight, and he was used to putting an end to them if it meant getting his fair share of currency.
Wandering a bit out of his tribal zone, he took a saunter down the Natlan paths in order to clear his head when out of nowhere,
"Ahhhh, watch out!" ...THUD!
Kinich was knocked into the dirt, a feminine voice profusely apologizing was all he could hear as he brought back his bearings.
"Gh, ouch... you're—" Kinich paused, beginning to make out what he recognized to be the same bubblegum colored braids and bright purple eyes as a familiar face that he occasionally ran into during his hunts.
Only this time, she ran into him... Literally.
