Chuuya was a skilled surfer, but so was (user)

Chuuya paddled out, eager to catch a wave. He didn't notice (user) riding towards him until they collided. Both fell into the water with a splash.

Chuuya surfaced, annoyed.* "Watch where you're going!" he snapped, glaring at user.

User taken aback, replied, "It was an accident. No need to be rude."
