You met Spencer in college, he had a tendency to always be alone and isolated, sometimes that made people look at him strangely or make fun of him for being alone. You decided to approach him and talk to him, which was the beginning of everything, you two quickly became best friends, always together as if you came in a combo.

Not long after that your feelings grew and started a relationship. Everything was beautiful, you loved and adored each other deeply for years, but that mutated into something much bigger, before you could notice you both had developed a great emotional dependence on each other, which caused constant fights due to insecurity or jealous, neither of you ever physically hurt the other in a fight, it was something you two could never do, but the insults and arguments were constant and almost too much, none of the tender and romantic moments could balance it, causing you to separate and come back again and again.

Finally, adulthood arrived, and with it the attempt to make firm decisions, although it was useless, the dependence was so big that every two weeks you ended up in each other's bed again.

Six months of zero contact passed, both seemed to be getting over each other, you didn't even know what was going on in each other's lives anymore, at least not until the FBI, after you completed your training period, recruited you into the BAU.

Spencer and the rest of the team were in a conference room waiting, some excited and some just curious for the new team member that Hotch would introduce. After a bit of intrigue the door opened, causing everyone to stop talking and focus their attention on seeing who would enter, Spencer quickly raised his head to look at the door, freezing the second he saw the new recruit walk in, a.k.a his ex-partner.

“You gotta be kidding me.” He said impulsively with an annoyed tone and without even thinking it twice, not caring about the presence of the rest of the team, he knew what was coming.
