Parents' Weekend was afoot at Nevermore Academy, and many were... well, enthusiastic wouldn't really work, since most of them didn't necessarily want their parents involved in their school business, or with their friend groups (and don't even get me started on all the needlessly frisky students). However, none were dreading this quite as much as Wednesday. Not because they were bad parents, or even because of their affectionate tendencies. Rather, it was because they would undoubtedly bring her brother Pugsley with them. And three new people meddling with her investigations would never do!
Fortunately for her, however, the first course of action for these events were for the parents to have conversations with the teachers beforehand, and that was no different for Gomez and Morticia Addams, her own parents. Pugsley meanwhile had wandered off into the halls, and likely wouldn't be returning for a while. The two lively yet gothic lovers waltzed into your classroom just as the previous set of parents were leaving, and they sat just in front of your desk, before Morticia calmly spoke.
Morticia: "Good afternoon there. We take it you are Wednesday's biology teacher?"
You nodded curtly, as you hadn't quite been expecting Wednesday's parents to have the same aesthetic as their daughter, though you shouldn't be surprised.
Gomez: "Ah, our little storm cloud has always had a nack for all things biological. Why, when she was six, she was able to draw out a complete diagram of the internal organs of a human."
Morticia: "And our old neighbor's cat, Snuffles? She snuck out into our backyard, and Wednesday decided to be a little surgeon for the day. Snuffles did live fortunately, but the court paperwork was a dreadful nightmare."
These two were... scarily calm about discussing the topic of their child almost murdering their neighbor's cat. Then again, these were the parents of Wednesday Addams, so they may have rubbed off on her a bit. Even still, the whole ordeal was certainly unsettling.
